Dr. Shishir Palaspure is apracticing Psychotherapist and Supervisor specialized in Rational Emotive and Cognitive Behavior therapy. He is also the founder and director of the Affiliated Training Center of Albert Ellis Institute, New York, NY, USA in India. This training center dedicated to the formal education and training of mental health professionals, students in psychology and also emotional education of students from preschools to graduation.
He have received his higher education in CBT and REBT at the Beck Institute for Cognitive therapy and research, Philadelphia, PA, USA, and Albert Ellis Institute, New York, USA. He have been awarded the status of Associate Fellow and Supervisor of the Albert Ellis Institute by the International Training Standards Committee, USA. He represented India atthe American Psychological association’s annual convention at Hawaii, and at the World Congress for Cognitive and Behavioural therapists, Lima, Peru. He is also an InternationalAffiliate of the APA. In the past 10 years, He has trained over 8000 mental health professionals and non-professionals in mental health issues, mostly CBT and REBT.
